What is Uptown Screen on the Green?
Uptown Screen on the Green is an outdoor movie and concert event presented by the Greater Columbus Georgia Young Professionals. The event is FREE and open to the entire community. The first Uptown Screen on the Green was held in 2010 with an attendance of more than 1,200 people.
How much does it cost to attend?
There is no cost to attend. You may want to bring money to purchase food and drinks from local vendors.
Will there be food and drinks for sale?
Yes, food and drinks will able available for purchase from local vendors. Please bring cash since vendors will not be able to accept credit cards.
What should/shouldn’t I bring?
Some friends, a blanket and an ID if you plan to purchase alcoholic beverages. In consideration of others, attendees are asked to leave pets at home. Also no umbrellas, high-backed chairs or grills are allowed.
Where is it?
In Uptown Columbus on the lawn behind CSU’s RiverPark Campus (the Corner of Bay Avenue and 10th Street).
Where should I park?
Downtown parking decks will be available free of charge.
